Although its still mid-season, the days until the mayhem and good times of the Palm Bay Slush Cup during the World Ski and Snowboard Festival (TWSSF) are growing fewer. SBC skier ran some of my images for a story about the legendary spring event in Whistler.
Today was the World Cup Skeleton and Bobsleigh at the Whistler Sliding Centre. I was up shooting some images for Tourism Whistler and it was a great evening to catch the action.
Today I captured an intimate wedding at the chapel on the Woodland’s Terrace at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The Fairmont is a great wedding venue with the terrace hosting many weddings each year.
Another year has passed and a new one has arrived. I am excited for what 2012 will bring!

Today I did food photography for Whistler’s only Japanese Izakaya (Pub) at Harajuku Izakaya. The food was really good and made for great photos. Commercial food photography is always fun for me as I used to be a chef years ago before becoming a full-time photographer.
One of my winter images of Whistler village featuring the Olympic rings has been used on National Geographic’s web-site (www.nationalgeographic.com).
Today was the World Cup Luge at the Whistler Sliding Centre. I was shooting some images for Tourism Whistler and it was a great clear night to catch the action of the athletes pushing speeds over 130 km/hr.
I headed down from Whistler to Burnaby today, to do some corporate headshots for company that I originally photographed at a retreat in Whistler. They have continued to grow and needed head shots of their new employees for their web-site.
This years SBC Resort Guide features a full page image of mine in their annual Heli/Cat guide section taken while Heli-skiing last season at Powder Mountain Heli-skiing.
